NIKE TOC PROGRAM COVERGIRLS OVERRATED?
First of all, cudos to a well organized tournament in Phoenix at the TOC. Congratulations to Jasmine Dixon, Monique Oliver and the rest of the Long Beach Poly team for winning the championship. I will get straight to the point! Jasmine Dixon, Monique Oliver and the center from Notre Dame Academy should have graced to cover of your program this year. (INAPPROPRIATE COMMENT DELETED BY ADMIN) should have caught the next plane smoking back to Las Vegas the second day with the effort she gave in the biggest tournament of the year. Coaches, remind your so called ALL AMERICAN PLAYERS that if you grace the cover of a magazine at any time, you had better BRING IT against the best competition in the nation. I think that it is a disgrace that some of the guards in this tournament that shined very bright did not get any so called HYPE. The HOOPGURLZ organization need to learn how to evaluate talent and stop letting parents influence you to pump there kid up to college coaches to get a scholarship. As a spectator Hoopgurlzs have lost crediability when it comes to rankings. Just because you are 6 ' 3'" doesn't make you a All-American.
Shameful Behavior
Mr. Gaynor,
The disgrace actually was your very public behavior down in Chandler. I guess this post should come as no surprise. I sure hope Bev Smith and her staff caught your act and will read your post as well. I normally would delete it, but I think you should bear some shame for stooping so low as to slam a TEENAGED girl on a national website. I did expunge her name; however, I am keeping a copy
I also want to point out that you accosted a person who works with us - blathering on, as you have here, about our "magazine." We are a WEB site. You can Google that, in case the difference still is not clear.
At any rate, a true citizen of this sport never would begrudge another family's daughter for any attention she gets. Your type - which chooses to try elevating your own by pissing on another - is one of the few scars on an otherwise beautiful sport.

BISHOP GORMAN HIGHSCHOOL
Bishop Gorman of Las Vegas will be the team that everyone is overlooking. I think they are poised and ready to make a run at TOC. They are big and agressive with Ashley Gayle (TEXAS) and Danielle Diamant in the front court. They also have two lightning quick guards in the backcourt with Darriel Gaynor (Oregon) and Aaryn Ellenberg. Kiara Belen and Yohindra Edwards are also two wing players that can defend. They are the two time defending 4A State Champs in Nevada and should three-peat barring any unforeseen injuries.
NIKE TOC
I think Bishop Gorman will be a pretty good contender. They have a really solid team. With the bigs (6'4" Ashley Gayle and 6'4" Dannielle Diamant), point guards/shooting guards (5'7" Darriel Gaynor and 5'6" Aaryn Ellenberg) and a solid defensive team all-around, they should be able to handle their own.
