Geno visits Kelsey Bone on 9/25/07
According to John Altavilla Hartford Courant Geno visited Kelsey Bone yesterday.
What do you make of this?
Evaluation Period
They have a viewing period that started on the 16th of September and runs thru this weekend. Coaches are allowed to visit schools, talk to coaches, counsellors, and administrators but no contact with the players. I coach Jordan Madden (#30 on the 2009 list) and we have had coaches in for the past two weeks. They are only allowed to send letters, faxes and emails to potential recruits. Recruits may call the coaches anytime at their own expense. Most of the coaches left me a business card so Jordan or myself can contact them. Recruits may go on unofficial visits(not paid for by the university) to any college.
I am not sure, uconn isnt on
I am not sure, uconn isnt on her list, is Geno trying for 4 number 1's in a row? he is brilliant at scouting though.
Can a coach "visit" a junior?
I didn't think so.
He can go to her school, talk to her coach, but not "visit" the player; at least that's my understanding.
