Chris Hansen is the National Director of Scouting for Women’s Basketball at HoopGurlz.com. He leads the panel that evaluates and ranks girl's basketball prospects nationally for HoopGurlz. Chris has been involved in the women’s basketball community since 1998 as a coach, trainer, evaluator and reporter. A graduate of the University of Washington, he has coached at Bothell and Mariner (twice) High Schools and various club teams. Chris can be reached at chris@hoopgurlz.com.

Erica Metzler is a senior at the University of Washington, majoring in Journalism. She hopes to write about sports after graduating in the spring. Erica attended Peninsula High School in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., where she played basketball for four years, softball for two and lacrosse for one. She presently writes for the University of Washington Daily and works part-time for the Seattle Times. Her hobbies include going to concerts, listening to music, missing the beach and sun, watching sports and hanging out with friends. Erica can be reached at erica@hoopgurlz.com.

Tyrus McBride has played for Muskogee High in Muskogee, Okla.; Connors State College in Warner, Okla., and the Tyndall Air Force Base in Bay County, Fla. He also has officiated at the high-school, NCAA Division II and Division III, NAIA and junior-college levels, and continues to train and schedule officials. Ty has coached with Finest Basketball Club (FBC) Georgia and Collins Hill High School Fall League for two years, and has coached boys and girls in skills development at all levels, and at several Division I college camps across the nation. Mindi Rice works part-time as a sportswriter at the Tacoma News Tribune and as a barista at Starbucks. She grew up in Seattle, where she attended Roosevelt High School and first found her love for girls basketball by covering the Roughriders for the student paper. Mindi graduated from the University of Oregon in June 2004 with a degree in journalism. She is a member of the Association of Women in Sports Media and the Native American Journalists Association. Her favorite sports to play and cover are basketball and softball and she considers herself a statistics nerd. Mindi can be reached at mindi@hoopgurlz.com.
